Pshko (Shko) Marden

I am a therapeutic practitioner, Accredited Mental Health Social Worker, practice supervisor, and trainer, with over a decade of experience in therapeutic work, both in Australia and abroad.

My therapeutic work is guided by narrative therapy, trauma-informed practice, the invitational approach, and relational and dialogical frameworks. It is also shaped by postmodern philosophy, feminism, queer theory, critical race theory, and decolonial perspectives.

I approach therapy as a collaborative space where your experiences, concerns, commitments, hopes, values, relationships, and preferred ways of living become the building blocks for creating new possibilities.

In my practice, I aim to create a respectful and reflective space where we can explore what matters to you, what has been difficult, and what therapeutic movements might become available for healing and the emergence of new meaning.

At the centre of my work is a commitment to collaboration, respect, accountability, and the belief that people cannot be reduced to their problems or defined by them.

Therapy is a space for generating new meaning, reconnecting with what matters, and creating new possibilities for how we might live and relate.
